Ok so halfway mark swapped over to the stirlings ! Smaller size but not a much smaller sound, slightly more sparkle in the treble too , listening to the avalanches , since i left you album ??????

Heres a bit more tannoy spam , pulled the 15" glenair's out for the first time in almost 2 years of being dormant for a listen ! These were made in 2014 and have less then 20 hours on them so their still running in ?

I reckon they'd sound better if you'd hooked them up to one of your valve amps... just saying ?

Maybe tomorrow  ill take that advice , my lack of powerbards in this house makes it hard to run the monoblocks ?

I still haven't go around to hooking them up yet...? maybe next weekend ....building anticipation here , i imagine though the 28w will be plenty for the 95db glenair's 

Shout out to all Tannoy owners hiding under their blankets, so bloody cold in SA atm 

 

Freezing here in vic too ! Lounge is the coldest part of the house but that's not stopping the late night listening! Tannoys work best in the dark?

Has not been allot of action here lately so I'll post the first pic to bring this thread back out of isolation 

I was eyeing off the Tannoy Precision 6.2 a few years back.

Never got to listen to them though . Does anyone have any experience with them ? 

They were a great looking speaker that still intrigue me.
