kelossus Posted January 31, 2020 Posted January 31, 2020 I recently purchased a CEC TL51X CD Transport from SNA but it did not come with a remote. Given that CEC use Sanyo mech's is it possible that a remote control for a Sanyo CD player will work? I know that sounds a bit silly but CD players with philips mech's seem to have a common remote control scheme. Marantz, Philips and Krell remotes all work with philips based spinners.
Bronal Posted January 31, 2020 Posted January 31, 2020 Have you thought about contacting CEC direct? http://www.cec-web.co.jp

I own a CEC TL1 and a CEC TLO and when I had them serviced TEAC were the designated service company. They actually stocked parts for the units (Perth)- I have always understood that the link was TEAC and CEC. However this was a few years ago. I don't think CEC and Sanyo are related, but not certain things may have changed. Edited January 31, 2020 by Smp
