Price Range: Looking to pay around $400.
Item Condition: As good as possible.
Extra Info: Hi, I am looking for a pair of HD660s. Prefer them to be in as good of a condition as possible. Happy to pay postage on top of price.

Very different imo. I had both, I think it depends on your dac and amp set up. I preferred the 660s.

Thanks for the advice . The HD660s does seem overpriced compared to the 58X and 6XX, but I do think the 660s is better for me.

I sold my pair of 660s after hearing the Focal Utopias. I could't afford the Utopias and bought the Focal Elex instead. These are far superior than the 660s but so is the price. 

 

My set up was balanced and it did open up the sound stage on the 660s

Which amp and dac was it used for Utopia?

SMSL SU8 and Woo Audio WA22. But I ran my 660s with a SMSL SH8 for a while, I found it very good.

I bought @Tarzan's HD660S and am enjoying them a lot.  Also have Focal Elex and Elegias (closed) that I alternate between.

You really can't go wrong with either the Elex or HD660S for open cans. Is there a shop near you where you can maybe demo the HD660S the Clear (closeish to the Elex IMO) to see if you prefer the Senny or Focal sound?
