John01 Posted January 13, 2020 Posted January 13, 2020 For many of you, not him again. To those members I do apologise. There is a saying, if you always do, as you’ve always done. You will always get, what you expect. Your speakers need to be challenged every once and a while. Remember, well not all of you, but certainly the ones that are my age, when you bought a new car. They would always tell you to run the engine in. Too vary the speeds from 0 to hundred, not just to site on one speed all the time. Well the same can be said for our speakers. The material that holds the speaker cones, also needs to be driven at various speeds. Get that good vibration happening with them. So so every once and a while, make them do a bit more than there used too. It frees up the cone, so what you have always heard, becomes adaptable to change in the highs and Lows. Free those suckers up. Give them a chance to shine. Respectfully, John
