Recently been retipped and serviced by AJ van den Hul including the installation of a boron cantilever and a VDH Type 1 stylus. Cartridge has had less than an hour of total play time. . Absolutely incredible, dynamic, accurate, musical cartridge. Reason for selling is I upgraded to a VDH Crimson Stradivarius which is ever so slightly better. Really hard to put a price on this. The cheapest I’ve seen on Audiogon is $1000 pounds which works out to be 1800 aus. That was for a used model refilled by a lesser known cartridge repairer. Looking for a quick sale so I’d let this go for $1150 which is not a lot more than it cost me for the rebuild. Anyone in the market for a seriously high end cartridge on a budget look no further."
