olegau Posted January 5, 2020 Posted January 5, 2020 I bought new one recently for my bedroom. Small speakers but big and natural sound with a sub!, very happy.
Harbord Posted January 5, 2020 Author Posted January 5, 2020 (edited) I have been very happy with the Harbeth P3ESR. Using tools such as REW to optimise their placement in my room provided a very significant improvement. I am hoping that the Harbeth 30.2 will also provide many years of music enjoyment. Gazer01 Posted January 5, 2020 Posted January 5, 2020 Hi, Can you describe the sound signature of these Harbeths?

When I listen my desktop Ascension Woodfox 8222SRTL speakers I love them but when I jump to my Klipch Palladium F37 I hate my Klipch for approximately 20 secs but then I love them. After a while when I jump back to my desk I hate my Ascension Woodfox 8222SRTL for approximately 20 secs but then I love them. That is how our brain works. Go to a shop for audition. 1
Audiome Posted January 5, 2020 Posted January 5, 2020 That’s the only harbeth that worth getting in my opinion.
Harbord Posted January 5, 2020 Author Posted January 5, 2020 (edited) I find the Harbeth P3ESR Speakers to be a neutral souding speaker to which I can listen to for hours with out fatigue. Edited January 6, 2020 by Harbord

The reason I mentioned YouTube was that the reviews on there are very detailed and will give potential purchasers a much better understanding of what the P3SRs sound like.
Midget Posted January 6, 2020 Posted January 6, 2020 How much of a difference do those plants make on the sound? They are a nice touch and look nicer than a panel.
Harbord Posted January 6, 2020 Author Posted January 6, 2020 (edited) I do have a relatively bare room with side windows and glass balcony doors. I am slowly adding more plants but have not yet finished. The bigest impact on perceived sound quality have been: 1 - Using REW with a UMIK-1 to "visualise" the speaker placement with the smoothest low range. 2 - Using the Home Audio Fidelity service to create Convolution Filters which are then loaded into Roon. The plants are in a simple woven planter box and are sitting on an uptuned bucket; So the plants are not that solid. I will be measuring again when the Harbeth 30.2 arrive.
