Be Quiet...Listen Posted January 2, 2020 Posted January 2, 2020 (edited) Item: FS: Radford STA25 Stereo Tube Power Amp. Location: Geelong, Vic. Price: $3200 (reduced) Firm! Item Condition: Excellent to mint. Reason for selling: Downsizing & TT upgrade. Payment Method: Pickup - Cash. Extra Info: Up for grabs is one of my cherished Radford's. My reason for selling? I already have the MA25 monoblocks (not for sale) and another STA25 project, but probably more to the point, I have just upgraded my turntable and rationalising as a result. This amplifier is in beautiful cosmetic condition. You will not find better. With it's robust transformers and design, the amplifer can run a deceptive and surprising host of speakers. A great partner for any classic pair of Tannoy's, Spendor's (BC1's etc.), Yamaha NS1000's, QUAD ESL-57's and even the infamously inefficient STAX ELS-F81's @ 73 dB! The amp is fully operational and is the best sounding STA25 I have come across. I had my tech inspect and service it no more than 4-5 months ago and is in tip top shape. Original PCB's are intact and are as they should be. These amps are practically non-existent in Australia. A great and rare chance to grab a legendary, classic amplifier.
