Up for sale is my Promitheus audio tube dac.

this has been a wonderful sounding and performing dac that has coupled perfectly with my Promitheus TVC. It has a healthy 4 volt output suitable for passive or powered preamps.

Very sorry to see it go as it has provided me with many hours of wonderful music!

 

- fully balanced outputs and single ended

- Dual non-oversampling TDA 1545 dac chip run   
 In parallel mode.

- 3 dedicated transformers for the tube power 

  supply , tube heater and digital section .

- 240 volt

- 4 volt output.

- USB and SPIDF inputs.

 Comes with 2 pairs of 6922 tubes one pair GE 

  and one pair phillips as a spare pair.
 

Pick up in Menai 2234 preferred but will post at buers cost. And yes it does come with a lid!

I have the non tubed version and it sees off all contenders. It has the magic of smooth and detailed/ transparent at the same time.

I need the TVC as well  I think.

Would love to buy the tubed DAC here but I'm not allowed to at the moment.

This tube dac has a lovely sound, smooth rich and dynamic. I have never heard the solid state version but I am sure it would be brilliant also.
