mwhouston Posted December 11, 2019 Posted December 11, 2019 (edited) Item: DIY Class D monoblobks "Tutu" Location: Langwarrin - 3910 Price: $550 with donation + postage (about $30 to most states). I will consider extremely good offers. Item Condition: AS new 9.9/10. Reason for selling: No longer required Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: Tripath Class D amps have a warm and non-clinical sound with ultra-low distortion and near zero output impedance. The extremely low output impedance is responsible for very low bass extension and iron fist speaker control. These monoblocks are detail and image rich. Each monoblock has its own RFI/EMI power filter. the enclosure is earth and fused. Each has its one 300W toroid and 2 X 22000uf of Mundorf MLytic audio grade filter caps (snubbed with high grade polies). A 10A rectifier bridge is soldered direct to the first cap to ensure high current pass through when required. The Tripath modules have had an input capacitor upgrade to Mundorf EVO oils. They also have over and under volts and current protection. The enclosures are smart looking two tone and are of solid steel and Al construction. Extra heavy duty three-way binding posts ensure a tight grip on speaker cables. The RCA inputs are high-end copper, palladium and Teflon. The amps are not overly heavy and can be stacked or side-by-side. Note: The images of the inside do not show the upgraded to Mundorf cap. This has been added since photos were taken. On request I can send the image of the upgrade. I offer twelve months parts and labor support. After that parts cost only. Transferable. http://retro-thermionic.blogspot.com/2016/11/tutu-150w-tripath-class-d-monoblocks.html ELECTRICAL DISCLAIMER This product has not been manufactured by a qualified individual or company, therefore contains electrical circuits that do not necessarily comply with Australian Standards.
