Extra Info: This unit was designed to  work with the IFI Gemini cable (also up for sale) but will compliment any dual USB cable (one that splits the power and data). It cleans up the 5V and reclocks the data stream. Especially good when you're using something like a PC or MAC that might have noise of the USB hub.

You insert a USB cable into one end (best to use a decent but not really expensive one) and then run a dual USB out. Alternatively you could run a standard USB from the DATA only outlet IF you have a DAC that does not require 5V signal to get a handshake. This leaves a really clean 5V USB that you could use to power something else.

 

NOTE: No power supply with this. I used a spare outlet from my HDPLEX 100W.
