RCADees Posted December 5, 2019 Posted December 5, 2019 What a beautiful beast! Those capacitors remind me of some sort of energy holding towers feeding the First Order machinery in Star Wars. 1
Cloth Ears Posted December 5, 2019 Posted December 5, 2019 The 1404th unit made in May (1979) on production line 22 (used for 719's for most of 1979 and 1980). Lovely! GLWTS
JackieL Posted December 5, 2019 Posted December 5, 2019 Great sounding amp. Close to the AU-919 in sound but with less power. GLWTS. 1

Those 90w x 2 sound way more than it seems.

You don't own Sansui's from this era, you just have them living in your home for a while before they move on. I still miss my '79 AU-X1. Sorry - I get misty when I see those volume knobs and switch gear. 1

I'll look back with fond memories of my AU-719 and do hope it will go to a good home :-)
