skiguy Posted November 27, 2019 Posted November 27, 2019 (edited) As I understand it in Oz some 4K Tvs have a native refresh rate of 50 Hz and others are 100 Hz. From some limited examples I have seen there is no price difference. No doubt there are other examples where 100 Hz native is more expensive. When I have have asked retailers what the native refresh rate of the screen is even they admit they struggle to find the information. It is common knowledge that various marketing terms are used e.g. Samsung Motion Rate but it seems the native refresh rates are hard to find for the specific models sold in Oz. What are the reasons why one would want to buy a TV with a native refresh rate of 100 Hz as opposed to 50 Hz? What are the practical considerations? Edited November 27, 2019 by skiguy spacing
