I also made a longer cable (1.95m, longer than stock) plaited from from silver plated OFC copper and some high purity Russian cable and it added to both the top end sparkle and bottom end weight. This cable is included in the purchased. Also included is a set of grills, which apparently is a mod the 4XXs respond to well to open up the soundstage. Head-Fi forums have a lot of information on the headphones and mods, such as grills, earpads, etc. I purchased these locally from a poor chap who suffered tinnitus and found they did not agree with him. I've only used the infrequently as I tend to listen to my speakers more. As such, they have low hours of use on them & present as new.
