They are all very similar designs, and my gut feeling based on auditioning different speakers from those manufacturers would be to lean towards the Elac. 1

There must be a standout. We don't know what your other components are either. Also don't pick on pricing, pick on what sounds good to you and what ever synergy the rest of your setup brings. We can't choose for you. If l had to pick, purely because l couldn't listen. I would probably pick the Elacs. Only on the basis, because they are manufactured in Germany. 1

I did listen to them, as the kef is playing well the midrange and lack of bass. Elac are beautiful sound but in 2 and half. Kef is technically well it's got 3 comes and one uni driver for midrange. It's just that because they made in China?), I'm bit susceptical though they sound equally same as elac. I have bowers and wilkinsHTM62 for center channel.Harman kardon BDS580 receiver com bluray player. As of now using paradigm atom 6 surround speakers

It's the made in China I'm thinking. But kef and elacs are identical but bass is good in elac. I don't want to sell the good stuff and regret later just because I have not used them properly. The receiver I have is not a great one to compare the speakers. I will give it a test again with all the speakers. Do you normally adjust the cross over each time change the speaker as per the speaker spec?
wen Posted November 16, 2019 Posted November 16, 2019 i would say its a choice between the KEF and ELAC, time to do some auditioning yourself, pick your favorite movie soundtrack and a favorite song, listen to the a couple of times, maybe listen to the Paradigm to make sure your on the right track, keep the winner, your choice

Monitors are far better than that q xxo series kef. New series may be better.
