Hi All

I'm looking to sell my Orpheus Aurora 3 floorstanders (original version) and wondering what peoples thoughts are on a fair price?  They are in excellent condition with a very slight mark on the left speaker grille and a few light scuff on the cabinet corners.

Thanks!

There were different iterations using different tweeters/drivers, may help to post a pic with grills off.

Edit: deleted incorrect model pic :)

Looks like a V1.1 or V2 with the offset tweeter.  Seen them go for $300-$400 recently which in my opinion is way to cheap for such great speakers.

They look exactly the same as speakers I used to own so I’d suggest they’re version 2.  I assume they’re the normal version, not signature edition. They went to version 3 in 2007, so you’re talking about a speaker at least 12 years old that had an rrp around $2k when it was last sold new.

I sold my signature version of these in 2012 for $800.

This is the long way of saying $300 - $400 is probably a fair price for them now.

If you have to sell them for $300 bucks, then make sure they go to friends or family if you can, as they are "worth" much more than that.

Totally agree. These are such great speakers. I would even love to have a second pair.

I paid $500 6 months ago and They are worth every cent.

And why not put them up for sale on this forum?
