H.E. Pennypacker Posted November 3, 2019 Posted November 3, 2019 (edited) Item: Luxman L590 Price Range: Item Condition: Used - very well looked after. Extra Info: Somewhere from $3500-$5000 depending on series/age. In my mind I had a </= 5yo-ish AX in mind for $4000-4500. I base that on a few 507s at $3500-$4000 and $3500 and below for a 550ax, so hopefully I’m not being unrealistic/insulting, happy to hear advice on the topic. I have a few alternatives in my scoping for a new amp, but this still tops the list. Most of my former amplification on its way to new homes, so this will be a purchase I’d be hoping to complete by the end of the week. Please don't forget to report your post as FOUND when possible. Demondes Posted November 3, 2019 Posted November 3, 2019 There exists a number of version of the L590, so price will range according to version and general age and condition of the amp. i had the previous l590ax and it was great but there was an earlier version and the current version l590axii i am pretty certain you could pick up an l590ax for $3.5k or lower. But often owners are not keen to sell. good luck 1

Gremrock Posted April 14, 2020 Posted April 14, 2020 On a similar note, I could be considering one of these (Preferably the latest iteration if I go for one) as a way to get away from a 6 box setup and hopefully get close to the same result (Hopes and dreams maybe...). If anyone else has one and is considering moving it please let me know. Also @H.E. Pennypacker if you could possibly PM me what version you ended up with and what you paid that would be helpful. Hard to get a real idea of what they're going for as most are overseas at the moment.
