Used to have a mate with Quads set up like that. He had his back to them though and they were closer.

Easy and reliable way for someone to get into ESL bliss. These will be under most people’s radar and they won’t know what they are missing.

 

I have had a pair of Acoustat 121 two panel design for the last 15 years and very happy with them and they sound like Quad 2905 to me without the maintenance and reliability issues.

I never had them there for listening, they are just there for demoing.
