So, this just happened...

The CEC TL0 CD Transport has finally graced my system. After much searching I was very fortunate and lucky enough to locate one interstate with the help of @kelossus. It's very much appreciated and reminds me that there are indeed some decent people on this forum and in this hi-fi community. Which helps to softens the disappointment of those who tried to buy it from underneath me... you know who you are.

Anyway, back to the fun stuff...

It is now hooked up and spinning some of my classic test tracks and I can't quite stop smiling. A brilliant pairing with my STAX X1T and a very welcomed addition to the herd.

Attached are some quick pictures.

Cheers,

CEC TL0 and the Stax Dac. I that've. 2 x Mable isolation suitable for both of them. Use to place under Accuphase pre and power make big difference. Travis if You interest let me know I can send you photos (pm). They look beautiful.

Ah glad you found one!--Great Drive--I owned one enjoy!--one caveat --it can be testy on some CDR's

There is a later model Remote that you may consider --the local agent is very helpful and my be able to advise on that score.

Good listening,

Willco

You know who will buy it from you if you ever get tired of it, ?

Don’t stick it on marble! Maple, yes!

Agree about CD-R comment. Most of the CECs can be like this, TL51, TL5100, TL1.

Enjoy mate

Nice gear. Um, I never heard a transport that didn't improve MARKEDLY when sited on a good rack. It hurts me to look at those components sitting on the floor!!

Everything is sitting on appropriately rated sorbothane.
But, stress less, a custom rack is on its way...
