Who has received good after sales support for TVs, especially for large expensive ones?  Keen to hear about good outcomes when things have gone wrong.

 

Not yet in market for plasma TV replacement, but when I do, after sales support will be a consideration. 

 

And please keep this thread positive..

 I bought a new Samsung 65" Q7 is 2018. It had an intermittent audio fault from the get go..

Rang Samsung & they put me in touch with local service technician.

They came out shortly after and upgraded the firmware. All fixed.

Apparently it was a known fault.

Son Bought  a Samsung 55”  LED  top of the line....

when we got it out of the box one of the HDMI inputs was not working....

Rang Harvey Norman point of purchase and they said just bring it back... Took it back and they swap it with another one sealed in a box.......  I love it when there’s no question asked,,,,,  you’re not interrogated to the enth degree!

BIG thumbs up for Panasonic for their help when my 4k TV developed a serious problem way past the warranty date.

There is a thread about it. (white spots on screen)

I buy Sony, many times. Never called after sales service ?

My last 3 tv's in 14 years  have been Hitachi, then Pioneer and now big 75inch Sony for last 4 years.

   Touch wood,  never had to use after sales support - all have been Perfect.

I bought a Panasonic OLED tv from The Good Guys Ebay store which was delivered promptly from my local Good Guys store. The panel had some dead pixels. I contacted the local store and they wanted some photos of the dead pixels. A couple of days later they sent a brand new replacement tv and took the old one away. I was quite happy with that.
