mattjtaylor2809 Posted October 14, 2019 Posted October 14, 2019 Hi Guys, Managed to win on greys-online, a pack of Artnovion room treatments consisting of absorbers x8, diffusers x2 & corner bass traps x2.... I think I'm ok with where & how I'm going to place the absorbers (wall behind speakers & back of the room) & the diffusers (1st reflection point)......but what's got me a little confused are the corner bass traps! In particular, there are only x2, one for each corner, they are only 595 mm tall, so unless I buy more to cover more surface area of the corner, will they actually make any difference? If I don't buy anymore (not cheap at full price), how high up the wall (corner) should I place them? They do have this chart online...if my room is approx 5x6 mtrs, i.e. 30 m2, does this mean I would need at least 5-6 for just a 2dB loss? https://www.artnovion.com/product-categories/9-bass-trap/products/319-bass-trap-corner-range Cheers all Matt
SandS Posted October 14, 2019 Posted October 14, 2019 I got out bid on that auction. Was after the Artnovion Loki panels. Still less than a quarter of recommended retail. I should have kept going a bit longer...
mattjtaylor2809 Posted October 14, 2019 Author Posted October 14, 2019 I did pay more than I wanted as the 125 delivery fee plus fees bumped up the price considerably....I'm not sure I even bought the correct pack as I need more diffusion than absorption but still pretty good price for what was a $4,5K package!
plato8010 Posted November 9, 2019 Posted November 9, 2019 I won on Grey's online diffusers. I was told they had made a technical error and therefore no goods. I got my money back.
