(speakers are mounted upside down so as to be aligned at ear level better for surround set up but are on a pivot so can turned to any position) Excellent quality speakers, were used as rear speakers in my 5.1 surround set up. Very precise and detail sound from these babies. In perfect working order. Also sound great in a 2.1 set up which I initially ran in my study. I have mounted them on high quality Canton stands which has an internal speaker cable run. I also have the desk stands but they have gone tacky due to the rubber coating on the stands. Same for the front coating on the speaker’s front face, but this is hidden by the magnetic covers.
