Sanity Records have a deal going for a Moby vinyl. >>>Click

Just ordered it...how bad could it be at that price? It says it's currently not in stock but I think that's because they've sold them all at that price.

WTF would you want to buy a Moby record, Luc??

Are you sure you're OK?

Andy.  Get back into your slippers and stare  at the wall ?.

I only wear slippers after I wake up in the morning, Shane - together with my dressing gown.

But, yes, sometimes I do  stare at the wall - it's an "oldtimer's" habit.  :P

No way to say this without sounding like a curmudgeon, but I realised I liked the samples more, sold my Moby and bought Alan Lomax's Sounds of the South instead.

But you are a curmudgeon, Murray!

Thank you so much for the heads up - less than 8 bucks for a double LP shipped... that's a good deal in my book. And Play is a great album, making it a great deal.

Never heard of it before but I purchased a copy. At that price can't say no.

The album is a 90s classic.  Heavy on Moby style lounge/dance/downtempo reworkings of little known/forgotten "sounds of the south" gospel vocals recorded for archive purposes by music historians in the field (Georgia, Mississippi, etc..).

eg     "Run On for a long time, sooner or later God's gonna cut you down", "Why does my heart feel so bad"

Also on board classics like "Porcelain" and "Bodyrock".

May have just talked myself into a purchase.

Looks like an error to me......................but I ordered one anyway!

It could very well be. When was the last time you saw vinyl for sale in Sanity?

Damn it, just saw this. I quite like this album, would definitely have grabbed it. Now says unavailable, not even for pick up. Multiple copies to SNAers I suspect!

I'll take it off your hands if you don't like it!

I must admit, it's been quite a few years since I've ventured into one!

Placed an order on 30/9. Just rang to follow up,! "unfortunately we will have had to cancel that order, distributor has none/or no longer supplying"

I rang just to ascertain if it was legitimate in the first place.

So, good luck to those who got in early.
