Hi Friends

Greetings..

Looking for a perfect speaker match for my Accuphase E-470 solid state amp. No opportunity for Audition  here.

My toplist

1. Tannoy Turnberry GR (prestige series)

3. Vienna Accustics Bethoven Baby grand

Friends.. Anybody using these combinations. Any suggestions I prefer detail, clarity and tight base

Im running ATC SCM40 mk2 with my e-470.

They are in your price range and have great synergy.

Plenty of detail, amazing clarity and super tight bass!

Add a Chord dac and you have a incredible setup that will serve you well for many years.

Dear Conch

Chord Dac which model?

Chord 2 Qute you mean?

Depends on your budget... qutest or hugo tt2

I dont think a phone video would do the system justice.

I also dont think its a good idea to put your whatsapp number on here...

Sir Sanders. Thanks. ?

already I hv Amp Accuphase E470

and B&W 683s2. Speakers need to upgrade. Deserve better speakers

I think.

Wow, yes. I paired 683's with a tiny NAD integrated unit for my parents. The Accuphase is in another league entirely.

I used to own an Accuphase E460. Not sure how different the E470 is to it's predecessor however I paired it with quite a diverse range of speakers: Dynaudio C1 MK2's through to Magico S1's. There wasn't speaker that didn't match well with the Accuphase. A very special amplifier. I understand Accuphase and Tannoy have great synergy.

Lenehan ML2 Are renowned for tight bass and high detail (if lacking a fraction in midrange magic), but if you can get ML3/5's they'll till all the boxes I think

This is where you might want to audition Proac Response D30R or 48R with Accuphase bringing out  Proacs lovely midrange.

Another great synergy, I believe.

@Cafadcan comment better than i, he has my old ML2s and had a e460 I believe. Memory is t the best judge but it was certainly a combo I said I could live with. Nearly as good as my tubes lol

I think you might be remembering the Luxman L590II that I had for a fortnight at one point.  I certainly remember you liked that one.

Can't recall if the accuphase made it to your place or not.

It's probably no coincidence that our Accuphase distributor also stocks Proac speakers.
