Ender1624705735 Posted July 2, 2002 Posted July 2, 2002 'Sweet Home Alabama'/ Lynyrd Skynyrd from the 'One more from the road' album ;D Alright..... Southern rocks!!.. Lynyrd Skynyrd is also one of my fave band... Are you into the Allmans Bros too? I particular like the instrumental piece Jessica....
Ender1624705735 Posted July 2, 2002 Posted July 2, 2002 Any idea why the southeners hated Neil Young so much (his name appeared in the lyrics of Sweet Home Alabama) ? ??? Sweet Home Alabama was actually a response to Neil Young's song "Southern Man" and "Alabama", which kinda criticize the southern rascist society. Anyway further interviews I read that not long after the release of Sweet Home Alabama, Ronnie Van Zant actually commented he respected Neil Young, and they're really ok with Neil.. Thanks God we don't have to take sides, coz I like both of them. ;D
