EXPIRED: Plinius 9200 Integrated Amplifier

Hi All – with very deep reluctance I expect to be selling my Plinius 9200 shortly. If anyone is interested please drop me a PM to let me know/make an offer. I am only selling as I am about to go down the Power Amp or Mono Block upgrade route rendering the 9200 redundant in my current set-up.

 

My 9200 was bought brand new in early 2004 and was sent to The Listening Post in Christchurch for a "Plinius officially authorised" modification to the Processor Loop – replacing the manual switch with a 12v trigger circuit so you can use an AVR Trigger Out or accessory power supply to decouple the pre-amp section and use the 9200 as a Power-Amp for a HT set up.

 

Unit is just over 6.5 years old – in excellent condition – well cared for – never been worked overly hard, etc, etc… All original packaging, remote, manual, etc.

Yes, I agree, those monoblocs are rather butch... None of those switching power supplies or alloy cases. All metal heatsinks and brick *house casework are not what I'd call portable audio!
