Very original - does not have the Valahalla power supply or presumably any other upgrade, so be prepared to spend. The Valhalla really cleans up the midrange "warmth" compared to the early models , I can still remember the look of astonishment on my wife's face when I fitted it way back in the 70s or early 80s. I would not consider a linn without at least that and as the Valhalla is no longer available it becomes even morecostly to upgrade.

This Linn has been listed before.

With hindsight I actually prefer the classic pre-Valhalla/Ittok/Asak combo to later iterations.

The midrange "warmth" is the essence of "Linn-ness".

All it needs is a mint Supex 900.

Horses for courses really, like Michael, I prefer my Linn's in original spec... less precise than the rodded and modded later versions, but that precision imparts a sterility which I do not prefer. I like a bit of warmth to my music :D

...with a Supex SD900/G707 fitted you have one of the main reference standards as used by many a Hi-Fi mag in the late 70's

Mr Analogism.... don't think you are going to 'suffer' too much with your WT ;)
