michaelw Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 Who watched the final tonight ? Not everyone's cuppa tea but I thought it was a great Last Episode.
tanman_sg Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 *sighs* I might even have shed a tear Would have been really neat for Wolf to turn up at the end and say "hello love", like he does...
got tinnitus Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 Saw one episode... But how did it finish? Did they move to Remuera?

Guest Guest Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 It's not my cup of tea. It's my bottle of beer!! Great last show, going to miss it!
Tony Davey Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 I thought the same about Wolf coming back too, but in some ways I'm pleased they didn't. Was a great ending to the series, pity its finished. Was it just me, or did it seem Robyn Malcolm was in "damage control" yesterday with all the smiley news / current affairs programs trying to get back in the publics good books? That ends the "must watch" shows on TV for me, hopefully there is something else worthwhile watching in the near future, bring back Top Gear!
Guest Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 Nothing else on the telly that I'm following either these days.

Guest Guest Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 Nope, nothing on worth watching now. Anyone see the trailer for the new series starting next year, from the makers of Outrageous Fortune? Looked interesting.

ToPGuNZ Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 shortland street:D I enjoyed the final show and wish I had watched the series. We have been renting TV series to watch e.g. 24, deadwood and are now starting Farscape. Great not to have the ads and catch up on previous series. Might put Outrageous on the list now.
k14 Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 I wanted there to be some majorly dramatic ending but I guess they couldn't do something like that. I think the "happily ever after" ending was a little too cliched but I don't think they had many other options.

Is this going to be shown in NZ ? Ed is right, nothing really worth watching on NZ TV. Although Human Target, Dollhouse, Entourage are good for laffs. The Tivo hardly gets used !

Its on Sky - just about finished I think (I haven't had time to record or watch)... Although Human Target, Dollhouse, Entourage are good for laffs. I picked up Dollhouse - the whole set - for a good price from Amazon UK the other week... And you are forgetting: James May's Toy Stories (okay it's a rerun) Grand Designs Being Human SGU (okay a bit dodgy but benefit of the doubt for now)

Currently on Sky Movies on a Saturday night. I missed the first one due to work committments but have been watching ever since. Another thumbs up for Grand Designs, although a new season would be welcome - nothing but re-runs for a while now. Can't wait for workload to die down so that I can get back to The Wire (i stopped in the middle of S3 about 2 months ago), plus i've got a copy of Call of Duty Black Ops that i'm itching to get stuck into.
Daddy Dom Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Madmen on DVD gets our pick around here. I always strain to see any early 1960s hifi, but nothing yet ... DD

This Sunday's "Sunday Theatre" is a NZ spy drama/comedy starring 2 or 3 Outrageous Fortune actors and it sounds like it could be quite good.
