Pq and Sq not really that great but well worth catching up with.Edward Woodward as Callan ,Patrick Mower as Cross and Russell Hunter as Lonely make a formidable cast in this tight spy drama.Even though it looks dated the show still stands up well today . UK tv

Perhaps you are as old as I am.

Seen snippets on UKTV and enjoyed the moments.

I loved Callan all those years ago, but have moved on to Spooks.

Yep - I grabbed this when it became available - both box sets, and the later movie - and have enjoyed it despite the dated feel and very poor fight choreography... Have watched up to about the end of 3rd season (i.e. all the B&Ws and half the Colour) and really enjoyed it - another case where the story quality probably out weighs the production values of the time - giving it a certain amount of longevity...

Classic TV that made Woodward, not that US Equalizer nonsense.

If you love Callan, check out Michael Caine as Harry Palmer in The Ipcress File (and the sequels).

60's cold war spying at its best.

I was born in 1967; started watching Dangerman as a young teen so maybe early 1980's, just when VCR's first came out (as I used to tape it). Totally loved it, thought it was the best thing on TV ever.
