Like a lot of people have probably already discovered, I have just realized that I can't split my mysky signal with just a standard powerpass splitter.

Is there any way, other than getting multiroom, that I can split the signal from my mysky decoder??

I use a similar splitter and run a wire through to the master bedroom, where I have an LCD. I have a RF remote extender at the sky box and run it through the mysky remote which works extremely well so I have not only connectivity but aslo control in both rooms

The remote extender is a Signet XRay ST 860 from signal technology

Is it the HDMI out you're trying to split?

Bang on the money Daver. That's pretty much what I'm after.

There's the RF modulator idea above or (assuming you have AV in):-

Video transmitters (also from Jaycar) which will give you stereo audio, video and remote control as well.

Downside is they are a pain and perhaps best if you just have one or two walls to go thru and not to far to travel. If it crosses a hall be prepared to lose signal if someone walks through the line of the signal. 5.8gHz are best ones here as opposed to 2.4gHz which is used by everything under the sun.

Video balum which will send both audio and video over ethernet cable. Never see one of these in use so don't know impact on the video signal over a long distance.

Well the RF modulator seems to work fine. Well almost. I split the signal to two tv's. One is working fine, good picture and sound. The other has a good picture but no sound, just static. It's an older model tv so I'm wondering if it's the tv thats causing that rather than anything else.
