I'm looking for one Siemens 7308 tube for the Tri TRV-CD4SE CD Player I got from Speedy recently. Does anyone have one spare they are willing to part with for $?

Last 7308's I had were in a AH4000 Njoe Tjoeb CDP and sounded far better than the standard Philips JAN6922's it came with.

Thanks for the offer Paul and to others who replied too. I was in the shakey south last week and got a NOS Siemens 7308 from Geoff Edwards. I can't believe the change I'm hearing over the stock Russian 6922EH. So stunning I couldn't take the headphones off at all tonight! Had a session with Janet Seidel - Don't Smoke In Bed, excellent stuff, even with my budget phones:D

 

After tonight a tube preamp may just find its way onto the wish list;)

Its funny how many people decide they want glass in their system having experienced good tube gear...

 

I can stick my hand up for this!
