Hi Jon, what I meant is total effective mass 28g (Arm mass + Cart mass) and compliance of 7 will give about 12Hz resonance frequency. The Ortofon 7g total mass (arm + cart mass) and compliance of 23 will give about 12Hz.

Thanks Papa, I caught that a while ago and might go this wayto build a SUPER LIGHT WEIGHT arm for my Ortofon using a carbon fibre arrow shaft.
