Draken Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 Are they worth upgrading im using the standars one's on everything i have. My dvd player's powers cable is attached so cant upgrade that. if so where to buy?
got tinnitus Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 Does your Denon amp take an IEC? If so, get a decent IEC cable and plug it direct into the wall. Cloth-Ears on this forum does a good cable for not a lot of money. Give it a week or so to burn in though. Don't expect great results straight away. However bypassing the Monster Board will give a nice change straight up.
a poindexter Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 i found that they were a subtle and yet worthwhile upgrade in my system .
bluedog Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 I found in my system they gave a better up grade than some expensive components go figure. I had a sparkie mate make up one for every component that could take them

Ernie1553552694 Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 Yes, most consumer-based power products will filter the power supply, but what a lot of people find is that this stuff constricts the dynamics and makes the audio sound worse. If you do get an upgraded power cable, try it without the Monster board. You might be surprised.
