reserve has been met on my beloved CLS2's

These don't come up too often as owners tend to hang on to them... as I have done. But alas it's time for them to go... I've enlisted the help of a buddy to sell them for me.. parting with them myself would be just too difficult. ( plus the fact that I am between homes at the moment!)

Would these be happy partnered up with a Radiance? Or would they be better off with even more juice?

Sorry I'm not familiar with the Radiance... that's a Perreaux right?

The do like lots of juice, lots of current.

I ran them with Plinius MA100's - I have heard thru the grapevine that I'm not the only one who settled on this Combination. i also ran them with a Plinius SA102 and an older Sa 100. (the MA100' a are a bargain BTW - better than the SA102's!)

I also heard them (someone else's) with Lewitt hybrids, very nice. And for a while I used a Perreaux 2150B. That had enuff power but I definitely preferred the MA100's and the tubes. Another friend of mine uses perreaux 3150.

Hah! so I haven't quite returned the favour of a great nights listening but glad you had a good listen before those panels went. I still love the way they present music but it was them or the horns.. and i spent so long building the horns there's no way they are ever being sold.

( off topic... but what was that Whiskey you served up?... d*mn as if i needed more vices! I'm hooked.. just bought a great Talisker... which I promise I'll save a a drop for when you come to listen to the horns... whenever that may be... seems like I've been house hunting forever!)

yeah it was great to get to hear them , they are fantastic speakers!

i look forward to listening to your horns and drinking your whiskey , speaking of which you were drinking a chieftain's 11 year old auchroisk speyside when you were at ours , sadly now unobtainium as there were only 1200 bottles of that one (my favorite drop so far:)) , there are others around but im yet to find one with the medoc finish.

good luck with the house hunting :)
