Hi,

I'm in the midst of setting up my AE700 after having it in storage for a while. I ran a few tests on it the other night and noticed that there is a slight misalignment, about a pixels worth of red and blue. Anyone have any experience in getting this sorted out?

I asked ConnectNZ for a rough quote and they only said $140 per hour.

Cheers!

To do these requires a specialist raiser board where I believe there is only one in NZ, at Panasonic NZ Auckland.

I'd contact them directly for options, these models can be tweaked. It will cost though and will take more than 1 hour, maybe 2 or 3.

Really ? Thanks for the tip!

If it's going to be too expensive I'll just try and live with it, I'd rather spend the money on a new bulb to be honest. It's only really noticeable with white text or lines, but I'll get in touch with Panasonic and see what they say anyway.

Cheers!

Hi,

Panasonic got back to me really quickly and basically said that it would be $1500 to fix as the whole optical block plus panels would need replacing, apparently they are glued together.

Oh well, never mind.
