super81553552675 Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 Turn the bloody heaters on for ^$#(*& sake Took the family to Toy Story 3 during the School holidays and should of packed the thermals. And because I'm stupid went back for a 1730 showing of Inception on Friday. I assume why they seat everyone together is so we can huddle for warmth. Who needs 3D when during the snow fortress battle you can see your own breath? Now that's immersion!
ToPGuNZ Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 I was in cinema number 6 on Sat and it was fine, hopefully just a one off. Maybe they are trying to save money. Maybe after this 3D faze they will move to the new amazing user experience faze, feel the cold, feel the heat, feel the lightning bolt.
Squid1553552671 Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 I remeber seeing Schindler's List at Wairau Park and by God it was cold. I'm sure the ambience of the movie content didn't help matters but it was a late session showing and we were bl@@dy freezing! I wasn't expecting any warm fuzzies that night but it was so cold it was hard to concentrate on the movie.
