stephennic Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 Hi, Just wondering when the new reviews are out. I think your last ones were in March. Does that mean the reviews will now be less regular, like quarterly? I miss seeing the regular reviews. Cheers Steve.
Shane Hanify Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 Gidday Steve, they new reviews shouldn't be too far away at all. Cheers, Shane.

jcooze Posted June 16, 2010 Posted June 16, 2010 There's an american guy called Bruce Springsteen, just released an album called "Born to something...". any chance of a review? He's supposed to be Rock'n'Roll's future which could be exciting......
NeilNZ Posted June 16, 2010 Posted June 16, 2010 You're more likely to get a rundown of the latest Disco hits from the Esteemed One

Just need to Bee gees to pop up next to make it a trifecta!
jcooze Posted June 16, 2010 Posted June 16, 2010 You have playlists on your record player or have you gone to cassettes?
Guest Posted June 16, 2010 Posted June 16, 2010 Sorry, jcooze. That was from a sudden dash into my future
Shane Hanify Posted June 16, 2010 Posted June 16, 2010 It's ok folks. I'm countering it with music from this decade so the continuum doesn't break. On the shiny little discs and all. Cheers, Shane.
Guest Posted June 16, 2010 Posted June 16, 2010 Shiny discs? What do you use to polish your LPs? I hear that Pickering cartridges are better than Shure for keeping that shiny surface look.
Shane Hanify Posted June 16, 2010 Posted June 16, 2010 Brasso and a polipad. For the really bad ones I use a grinder. That's me scuppered then as I run Shure carts. Cheers, Shane.
stephennic Posted June 16, 2010 Author Posted June 16, 2010 Hi, Thanks for the replies. I have noticed the reviews in the past for eg 2007-08 were mostly bimonthly. The last one before the march edition 2010 was Sept 2009 ( 6 months). Just out of interest does that mean reviews will be less often now? I really do enjoy reading your reviews, there are not many mags or internet forums in Aussie and NZ that do solid reviews. Cheers Steve.
stephennic Posted June 18, 2010 Author Posted June 18, 2010 Hi audioenz, Great to see the new reviews. It was good to read reviews of the NAD and Rotel cd players. Cheers Steve.
