dergib Posted June 12, 2010 Posted June 12, 2010 Re 3D tv and the active shutter glasses: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-1285707/Holiday-snaps-3D-The-550-camera-lets-view-home-you.html End of this article mentions in passing the following: Samsung recently put out a health warning that might scare away some potential customers. It suggested that pregnant women, the elderly, children and those suffering from serious medical conditions are among a wide range of people who could have adverse reactions such as confusion, nausea, convulsions, altered vision, lightheadedness and dizziness. LOL another nail in the coffin for 3D tv, also on the same site is the fututre saying we will have hologram tv in 2022. Japan is pushing this technology as part of its bid for the 2022 world cup football. Note that the link doesn't work even though it is the exact URL

dergib Posted June 16, 2010 Author Posted June 16, 2010 Check out the 3D camera, how bad would that be in an amateur persons hands, how steady would you have to pan/swivel the camera? Imagine how blurry the shots could turn out.
