Kenwood Series 21 system

Recommended Posts

I have got a Kenwood Series 21 system comprising of the following items

S-SR700 X 1

S F700 X 1

M-A300 X 1

C-V700 X 1

S-C700 X 1

D-R350 X 1

These are still in the orginial boxes and have never been opened, I intend to sell them on Trademe but have no idea of their value. I have had them for around six to seven years, I think, just sat in the loft. Can anyone tell me the approximate value of such a setup.

Do not know anything about audio, sorry

Regards

A bit like asking how long is a piece of string :D.. your guess would be as good as mine..

Trademe is very fickle.. depends upon who is in 'the market' at the time... you 'could' get 'good coin' as Ernie says for BNIB gear.. so careful with your reserve figure.

Kenwood isn't the most sought after brand, though there is nothing wrong with the gear, and may not command top prices.. but then you don't know until you try..and half of the trick is in how you market your gear ;)

I would suggest, if you list them on Trademe, that you give as much info as possible. Especially the reasons as to why you never opened them nor used them but also as many specific details on these particular models as you can find.

Without wanting this comment to be a reflection on you or yours, people will be a little sceptical of audio kit being bought 7 years ago and not being opened. The solution would be to say there's an interesting story behind this and then tell them the story. It's humanises you and makes the whole situation more plausible.

Have Fun and enjoy the auction process.

:)
