MosfetMainac
I hear that Pete Munt is back in the audio scene at a place called Strawberry Sound in sunny Nelson, which had just or about to open. Anyone been in for a looksie yet?

guitardude
I popped in at lunchtime for a quick squiffy. Quite a nice store, fairly sparse in the modern style, lots of turntables about which is nice to see. Brands included Sugden, Waterfall, and Living Voice, which havent been seen before here locally. Also stocking Plinius, Tannoy and Image. Apparently Pete Munt is away til Wednesday, so didnt get a chance to say hello. Best of luck chaps, nice to have a new store on the block !! ilikecrumpets
I love Peter Munt, and he loves me. He headbutted me once in a nightclub just for kicks, tears welled up in my eyes but afterwards we both laughed and shrugged it off as one of lifes experiences. That's a true mate for ya

NeilNZ
I would if there was more than just a Hifi store there!!!
craig f
Hey Neil - that's my home town you're taking a shot at there! It's actually got two good hi-fi stores (assuming that the new one is ok) and a hell of a lot more. Great climate, a thriving artistic community, good beaches, I could go on and on, but mainly it's got my family so I'm very biased. Cheers, Craig. NeilNZ
hahaha, I knew that would draw comments!! I love Nelson really, its just a bit small for my city slicker self...
KevinO
If I ever get sick of Welly then Nelson here I come. Great coffee , Living Sound is a great wee hifi store , I could score invites to Mr Dasler's listening room on a regular basis , lots of water to do very stupid things in , an artsy scene that is vibrant , Abel Tasman....
