Wel its al hooked up and running smoothly. Very nice.

The controls etc are just really really good.

Got my internet radio stations in and going.

Only disappointment that i was hoping wouldnt be is i have to run squeezecentre, cant just access my NAS drive with media server on it. Damn.

Might have to get that media PC after all.

I was really surprised by the weight of it. I was expecting a really lightweight unit.

I have been using my SQB3 remote with the boom. It's a lot quicker to find different artists using the alphanumeric keys and has brightness keys, repeat, shuffle, search & so on. Have just had a look on Logitech's and you can get a back-lit (Transporter) remote for $30US which will be handy for when the lights are dimmed. I have to go from memory at present and always seem to hit the wrong button.

Its still a few bucks cheaper than the 1-day $299, and you can buy it now.

True enough ... I bought one. They appeared to have a dozen or so in the shop in Newmarket.

Are these any good? Probably just for use as a bedside alarm clock/(internet) radio? I have speakers in the lounge, dining/kitchen and deck so I'm not sure I'll use it anywhere else. Maybe in the study or to move to the other bedrooms etc as required.
