AC Piggy back

Recommended Posts

Okay, so i did some (admittedly very little) looking myself and found what i was looking for.
Yes they are power outlets i can use to run the amp.
I would still like to know this though please.
Would i damage anything if i left the amps power button on permanently and used the switched outlet as a trigger to turn amp on and off?

The switched O/L only has 450W rating. If that's enough for the power amp, then it should be OK, depending upon how the amp actually does it's delayed turn on muting. If you can plug it into the power point directly, with the amp power button in the On position, then use the wall switch to power up w/o thump, then you're sweet.

Thank you A9X.
I will hook up a set of sacrificial speakers and give it a go.
The amp and pre are a matching set so i like my chances.
