Eurovision 2019 - Kate Miller-Heidke

Recommended Posts

Eurovision is a guilty pleasure that’s mostly so bad that it is kind of good.  Calling it a song contest is also a bit of a stretch but I still like to indulge each year.

Kate from Brisbane was voted as this year’s Australian entry.  It”s funny watching the reaction videos to this one from around the world. We might even be a top five contender.

Question is, is this track worthy of your fancy Stereo?  Probably way too “ out there” and at the same time kitsch for most.  At the same time it might give your drivers or panels a bit of a workout.  I think it’s a great Eurovision song, but for that reason it will probably stay on YouTube and my iPad rather than making its way into my system’s hard drive.

Stereonet reactions anyone.....anyone.......anyone?

......and the all important live performance.  If you were wondering, it’s about depression, hence the visuals, which are pretty good.

for sure KMH is one of those rare talents

that can actually sing !

which seems to be a virtue

in todays pop culture that is quite low on the list

to success

this song has many of the elements for a good shot at  Eurovision

I wish her well,

she will be on the world stage ,

just where a talent like her needs to be

Very good choice for Eurovision. Meets all the criteria, catchy, different, slightly insane. Glad to see the judges and public both agreed that it was our best offering. Electric Fields was a worthy runner up, again both judges and public agreed. Either of these songs would have done well but dependant on the quality of this years field I think KMH will be a top 5 finisher and even a possible winner......
