ThirdDrawerDown
Goodness me! That looks like a world of pain. It could be worse, at least the stylus-shifting arm isn't damaged. All the best for a speedy recovery, and for strength and resolute determination during the rehab.

mwhouston
Wow. Not nice. I rode for many years and most on Ducati 900 SS with race kit. But as any rider would say they have all come off at some time. And of course I did. Mate, improve and that’s an order!
frankn
Ahhhh Marc, You are just getting acquainted with your bike, don't give up so easily. You overestimated your ability - it happens to a lot of riders, learn and carry on when you've healed up. MTB riding is too good to drop it. Speedy Recovery.

proftournesol
Marc, take some time to recover, then it's time to do that trail again, this time without the tree! There are two types of cyclists, those who have had a crash, and those who are going to have a crash, unfortunately, you've become the former.
Darren69
Oh man, time to rest and lick the wounds. Me thinks the ribs will give you the most grief, from experience. Get better and get back into it again, it’s not a rehearsal mate.
