Date with the handlebars then a tree last night.

So far some rib damage, dislocated shoulder and a severed rotator cuff tendon.

Surgery booked in for Friday next week.

1 x ebike for sale. Slightly used.

Jeezus Marc, (no you're not the Messiah!),But now is the time to take up less hazardous pursuits like skydiving! [emoji848]

The list of every day objects to avoid is growing! (Bikes, ladders, )

Hope you're back on your feet soon!

Ahhhh Marc,

You are just getting acquainted with your bike, don't give up so easily.  You overestimated your ability - it happens to a lot of riders, learn and carry on when you've healed up.  MTB riding is too good to drop it.

Speedy Recovery.

Marc, take some time to recover, then it's time to do that trail again, this time without the tree! There are two types of cyclists, those who have had a crash, and those who are going to have a crash, unfortunately, you've become the former.
