Rrobot Posted February 5, 2019 Posted February 5, 2019 Item: Akai AA-1030 Receiver switches/knobs Hi All I'm trying to bring an old Akai AA-1030 receiver back into service and some of the the switchgear is pretty belted cosmetically. The tuner knob in particular looks like someone has thrown it down the road! I realise it's not exactly TOTL but it seems a shame not to restore it. This appears a comparatively common receiver as vintage receivers go and I wondered if someone had or knew of a unit that's broken and could be parted out or maybe just has some spares laying about? I believe many of the paddle switches and knobs are interchangeable between the AA-1030, 1040 and 1050 but I'm not too sure about the tuner knob. I'm in Perth but hopefully postage can be sorted out if an item turns up interstate. Cheers!
