For any of you lucky enough to own one of these great disc players/DACs, you will be familiar with their ability to play data discs. These can be DSD, DSDx2, PCM 44.1, 48, 96 and 192.

The only feature that wasn't fully developed was the ability to play gaplessly. There was a noticeable "click" between tracks if the original DSF/PCM file was burnt as is. There's no problem playing from the file into the USB input, only playing data discs.

You can use Tascam Hi-Res Editor (free download) to combine all tracks of a DSD or Hi-Res album into one long track. This will then play gaplessly.
It took me a while to work it out but I'm glad I took the time. No more clicking between tracks anymore.

At this stage I won't go to the difference in SQ between disc and file.
