blakey72 Posted January 17, 2019 Posted January 17, 2019 (edited) Might be old news but I just saw the Usher website which was down for ages and it's up and all new (compared to the last time I saw it years ago). The also offer a 150w/ch Pre/Power combo. Not sure if they are being sold in Australia yet. http://usheraudio.com.tw Edited January 18, 2019 by blakey72 Add info 1 1
blakey72 Posted January 17, 2019 Author Posted January 17, 2019 Can't seem to find anywhere in Aus that sell them. If anyone knows post it here

cafe67 Posted January 17, 2019 Posted January 17, 2019 Odd , doesn't seem to be anything new on the site, that amp and pre both both available before. The be718 and md1 were 2 of the best made/put together speakers I've owned. the be718dmd in particular had a very good sound about it

It's different to the last time I saw it which was a few years ago. Quite a while before the site went down.

I remember the menu used to be on the left and it dropped to the right when you hovered over the product. I don't remember seeing the amps though. I don't think I looked far enough 1
Guest deanB Posted January 18, 2019 Posted January 18, 2019 There is no X Tower or CP-777 listed these days. Or the big D-2 Distribution is concentrated in Europe and U.S. Excellent products but is the organisational side of the equation struggling?

Guest deanB Posted January 18, 2019 Posted January 18, 2019 Serious competition from Chinese speaker designers/manufacturers is something Usher didn't have to deal with for a long time. That may be impacting on their position in the marketplace.
cafe67 Posted January 18, 2019 Posted January 18, 2019 They are probably alive n well in the Taiwan/Asian market, but there western distribution might be up in the air 2
