Extra :bought these recently off another member and have used them for a few comparisons, passing them on at cost, although very good i have found i prefer the yamaha sound , they offer good detail like the yamahas but warmer and more laid back delivery , bass out performs ns1000 and ns1000x but the 2000 is another story , the diatones have a 12 inch honeycomb cone driver which has been refoamed recently professionally , a 60mm boron midrange and 23mm boron tweeter , individual crossovers for each driver and very solid cabinet construction, frequency response is 28hz-40khz

Weigh 38kg each and recently had new grille cloth fitted

Heard these against the NS1000 & JBL 4312 MK2 when I was in Vietnam. The Diatones are better in bass & go very low as well. They like power as well like the NS1000 but if you are thinking of buying a good all rounder without spending big money & are better then NS1000 in most areas then these speakers are the way to go.
