raba
Item: Woodside SC26MC/MM tube preamp Location: Potts Point, NSW 2011 Price: $ 1200 Item Condition: 8/10 Reason for selling: I bought a new integrated amp Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: The preamp has been regularly serviced and recently checked by Trevor Wilson (02)9589 1001 from RAGE AUDIO in Oyster Bay (Sydney). Woodside Electronics was born out of the legendary Radford Electronics company of Bristol, England. Woodside was created by John Widgery, who apprenticed with Radford Electronics and designed many of their products, when Arthur Radford retired. These units sold well in Europe in the late 1990s and early 2000s as they were built with excellent quality and with a fair price tag. It has a moving coil phono preamp included and it sounds beautiful: SC26's sonics combine a midrange richness with a good dynamic range. They were the top of the Woodside preamp range. They produce a spacious, three-dimensional soundstage. I bought the preamp in Germany in the 90s and am now selling it as I bought an integrated amplifier. further reference: https://www.stereophile.com/tubepreamps/295wood/index.html RRP US$ 3495 Pictures:
