Much better Sound Quality with KT150 tubes. The kt150 costs $150 each ($1200 in total). It is very good priced @ $6800!!!

Fantastic power amp, and can be upgraded to official Ref150SE standard by authorised dealers which is still the current model (which is a different board and upgraded power supply to better suit the KT150s.) GLWTS.

@Matyk Since you had got the ARS LS27 pre from me. You should buy this REF150 to make a perfect combo.

@Matyk I could not recall that you had got the ARS LS27 pre from me. I sold it to "audio nerd". I might be wrong.

Audio fever.

But i know its yours.

I love it!! But if i got a ref 150 i want a solid state pre and vice versa.

I used the ls27 to drive my ref210. IMHO I think the ls27 match very well with valve power amp, not so good with ss amp (usually has lower input impedance which can loose bass or bloated mid bass), most audio research preamps are recommended to drive high input impedance power amp.
