Ian McP
https://www.ortofon.com/as-309s-p-650 < Please note: The AS-212S, AS-309S, RS-212D and RS-309D tonearms have a Japanese geometry, which will not directly fit the normal Baerwald alignment. Baerwald alignment has a zero tracking angle error at 66mm and 120.9 mm distance from the center of the platter. > I believe some of the new Ortofon's are actually made by Jelco http://liquidaudio.com.au/jelco-sa-750d-tonearm-review/ < Perhaps the highest-end current version of this tonearm is from Ortofon – the RS-309 – an up-spec’ed version of the SA-750L. The RS-309 sells for thousands of dollars, way more than the Jelco equivalent. I’ve worked on one of these Ortofon arms and it’s really not that far removed from the Jelco. >
mloutfie
That's not the tonearm in the listing. I believe they reuse an old model designation. the one listed is looks like a 12 inch version of ortofon as-
